True North Adventure Cruises conducts adventure cruises all around the Australian coastline and, in the stunning waters of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Sea.

The True North features the ultimate in comfort and style! Cabins are spacious and feature modern décor, large ensuites, satellite telephones and incabin entertainment.
Passenger numbers are limited (36) and a young Australian crew (20) provides personalised service. Multiple expedition vessels take guests away in small groups to experience wilderness ‘up close’ and, to add yet another dimension to adventure, most cruise options feature an onboard helicopter.
Modern cuisine is also featured onboard the True North.

Located on the lower deck Ocean Class cabins feature roomy singles and en-suite. Cabin size is approximately 12 sqm. Other features include 2 portholes, in-cabin entertainment and satellite telephone.
The platform for dining onboard the True North is sustainable, organic and very Australian cuisine. The ship’s menus are also destination inspired and feature the very best of locally sourced ingredients. Modern technique is used to showcase alongside more traditional method.
The galley delivers continuously evolving dishes drawing from an array of different cuisines to ensure that each dining experience is unique to every cruise.
The True North allows discerning adventurers to experience wilderness in surroundings more akin to one of the world’s most exclusive hotels! Guests are able to take advantage of a number of lavish vantage points including a sundeck, a forward observation lounge, a ship’s lounge and an alfresco bar. The ship’s naturalist presents interpretative information on plasma screens and, an internet café enables convenient communication with the outside world.
A popular venue, the lower deck dining room offers the ultimate in comfort and uninterrupted vista - large panoramic windows ensure that guests never miss any of the action, even when they are enjoying the ‘finest in fine dining’.
Your expedition aboard the True North will normally feature a ship’s biologist. The biologist leads a team of six guides - one for each expedition boat. When joining a shore party, you will always benefit from informative commentary concerning the culture and natural history of the featured destination. The biologist also presents entertaining interpretive sessions in the ships lounge.
Multiple expedition boats provide guests with greater opportunity to do “what they want, when they want” and, to add yet another dimension to adventure, most cruise options feature an onboard helicopter! The purpose built True North is able to explore the upper reaches of shallow river systems - guests need only step out of their cabins to experience wilderness and, the latest in computer controlled motion stabilisers ensures a comfortable ride.
