Odyssey is a custom-built 24 metre expedition vessel launched in 2006. Her advanced catamaran design ensures very quiet operation, a spacious interior and excellent stability. Perfect for sneaking into secluded shallow bays, she draws just 1.8 metres and is powered by two advanced Mercedes Benz diesel engines. The engines meet future emission standards and are considerably quieter than many other engine types. Twin engines also offer improved flexibility on long range voyages.
Odyssey accommodates just 20 guests, with six well-equipped Deluxe Double cabins and four compact Twin Cabins. Four spacious, shared toilet and shower facilities are conveniently located mid ship, close to all cabins. The dining area can seat all passengers comfortably, with an al fresco dining also available on deck. Odyssey is equipped with the latest navigational equipment, radios, satellite communications and travels with a comfortable 12 metre excursion tender.

Deluxe Double Cabin

The six Deluxe Double cabins are well equipped with 240v power, personalised air-conditioning control, storage units and bar fridges. They also offer built in desks, a vanity unit and hairdryer. All cabins aboard Odyssey make use of shared bathroom facilities. Four spacious toilet and shower facilities are located close to all cabins.
Classic Twin Cabin

The four Classic Twin Cabins are equipped with twin single beds, 240v power, personalised air-conditioning control, storage units and bar fridges. All cabins aboard Odyssey make use of shared bathroom facilities. Four spacious toilet and shower facilities are located close to all cabins.
All meals are prepared fresh daily using only fresh produce or your catch of the day. Odyssey caters for all dietary requirements, when booking please note down any allergies or food requirements so the chef can be well prepared.
Breakfast on board typically consists of a healthy selection of cereals, homemade breads, fresh fruits and yogurt. Every second day the chef will also prepare a fully cooked option including bacon, sausages, eggs and baked beans.
Lunch is served buffet style with a selection of delicious salads, hot or cold meats and freshly baked breads.
Dinner is also served buffet style and may consist of anything from your catch of the day to lamb or prime rib steak cooked to your liking. Desserts including sticky date pudding with vanilla bean ice cream are the perfect way to finish off your evening meal.
Morning and afternoon tea is also provided and usually ready for guests returning from morning and afternoon excursion and snacks are available throughout the day. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a range of soft drinks are complimentary and are conveniently available at your leisure.
A few of Odyssey's signature dishes you will be sure to enjoy are:
- Freshly caught by you, grilled filleted Spanish Mackerel served with chilli tomato, avocado and lime salsa
- Macadamia and parmesan encrusted oven baked Coral Trout fillets with wasabi mash and Asian greens
- Chicken liver pate with red onion marmalade
- Fall off the bone slow roasted lamb shanks
- Sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla bean ice cream.
All non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary whilst onboard Odyssey. There is also good selection of beer, wine and spirits available on board. As Odyssey is fully licensed BYO is not available.
Odyssey's dining area seats all travellers comfortably for meals or presentations. Outside on the upper deck all guests can be seated under shade for alfresco meals. There are three other comfortable outdoor viewing decks. Odyssey carries a compliment of the latest navigational equipment, radios, satellite communications and a full DVD entertainment system. There's also digital and audio visual presentation equipment and a reference library full of Kimberley reference books and a few trashy novels!
Odyssey's excursions are taken aboard the 12 metre tender 'Homer'. This flexible excursion craft is able to travel up the smaller creeks and tributaries not accessible by the main ship, and she carries all 20 guests in comfort and safety, whilst two quiet motors will ensure you don’t miss a word of the guide's commentary.. Homer features comfortable seating and lots of shade cover, ideal for the hot Kimberley sun, and also boasts an easy access ramp and stairs for landings. An onboard toilet and water facilities ensure even the longest excursions are enjoyed in comfort.
