Anakonda
Ship Overview
Launched in 2013, the 40-passenger Anakonda riverboat is the only luxury boutique Amazon cruise winding its way through Ecuador's 'El Oriente' Amazon region, operating in the upper basins of the Napo and Aguarico Rivers, around Limoncocha Wildlife Reserve and Yasuni National Park - Ecuador’s largest protected animal reserve.
Anakonda features an expansive observation deck complete with loungers and an outdoor Jacuzzi. A comfortable al fresco lounge offers panoramic views along the river and is an ideal spot for cocktails, relaxation, reading or simply enjoying the view. Anakonda's expert naturalist guides and special travel concierge go out of their way to ensure you a personalised cruise experience.
When not dining on the terrace, you will find yourself eating irresistible tropical cuisine in the comforts of the spacious indoor dining room, from adventurous Ecuadorian dishes rich in Amazonian ingredients to staple classics of international origins. When you're not out on excursions you may find yourself relaxing in the ample sitting areas or large and comfortable beds of one of her spacious 14 Suites or four slightly larger Deluxe Suites featuring their own jacuzzi baths and private balconies. All 18 suites have air-conditioning for your comfort and fantastic floor-to-ceiling windows for unrestricted viewing of the spectacular passing scenery.

It’s not unusual for Anakonda guests to enjoy unique fare such as quinoa risotto or fish prepared in coconut sauce. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room, al fresco on deck or, on occasion, as a special BBQ ashore.
Anakonda's varied social areas include a bar-lounge/conference room, indoor dining room, outside lounge with al fresco dining facilities and spacious sundeck with two outdoor jacuzzis and loungers. There is also a small boutique where guests can purchase souvenirs and local handcrafts, and toiletries and other necessities.
An Ecuadorian crew of 25, including a purser, paramedic, four English-speaking naturalist guides, four native guides, the Captain and concierge, attends to guests' needs. Excursions ashore are made easy by three fibreglass ecologic canoes equipped with four-stroke low-emission engines. Each canoe has a capacity of 30 guests, and remains in constant radio communications with the Anakonda.
A great feature is Anakonda's concierge service whereby guests can request itinerary activities they would like to do, and depending on weather conditions and timing, the activities can be included, adding a personalized touch.
